Kuukkeli brings a mystical bird from the northern forests and an eager companion for lunch breaks. The people of ancient times believed that the woodpeckers were the souls of the dead Foresters, which is why it was also called the soul bird. Kuukkelin is also believed to bring good luck, and killing it would take a hunt for hunting.

The jewelery is handmade in Rovaniemi. Finnish PEFC and FSC certified plywood printed and laser cut in Kuopio. The metal parts are made of stainless surgical steel, which is also suitable for more sensitive skin.
