Kivalo Knife

A tribute to the traditions of Rovaniemi - made by hand in Rovaniemi!

Kivalo Puukko respects the knife-making traditions of Rovaniemi and Lapland. The handle of Kivalo's signature knife is very practical in design and made of Finnish birch. The handle is painted black and treated with a natural protective oil. The blade of the knife is made of carbon steel (105 mm, 80CrV2, HRC 59) - so it is also suitable for hard use!

P.S. A carbon steel blade can rust, so it should be dried and/or cleaned carefully after use. If necessary, the blade can be protected by treating it with salt-free oil. Sharpening can be done with, for example, a grinding stone or a diamond sharpener.
